what the hell is SO wrong with blogging?

blogging has evolve and became very diverse. it started out as a journal, just a journal. a place where you can pour your heart out. now blogging became many things, an advertising medium, a hate letter, a popularity contest and whatever it is you want and percieve it to be.

blogging has blown way out of proportions. people are criticizing it, chasticising it... i say what the fuck do you people care?!

if you dont like what you see, you're SOOOO free to not look at it, or even read it. but good Lord dont try to banish it from cyberspace. you're taking the bloggers right to express him/herself. and besides its a futile attempt to silence the blogger, because if you "ever" successfully 'shut it down', the blogger can simply sign up for it again and made a new blog. there's no stopping free speech.

because blogging is a way for people like me/us, to express ourselves in this hypocritical world of ours. its a way to relieve ourselves of the pain, pressure and stress that we feel inside. blogging is therapeutic for us, because we cant afford to pay for a therapist to listen to us rant, and we do not want to burden our friends or family who has problems of their own, or sometimes they are the subject of our frustrations.

if you find it very unappealing or even offensive, then stop going back and reading each entries. AGAIN, i must insist on the point that THIS IS A JOURNAL. whatever it is that's written here, are personal, defensive and offensive at the same time.

if we chose to show our feelings to the world, dont judge us, we're just being TRUE. we are not hiding anything, we are merely letting out the evil lurking inside of us. AGAIN, IF YOU DONT LIKE IT, STOP READING IT.

this is a blog. a journal. a diary.

if the person writing in the blog bashes another person or what, its his/her way of blogging.

as for brian gorell, the man who made blogging oh-so-controversial i love his BLOG!!! its his blog. his right. his last chance to reclaim what is rightfully his, in the first place, and if blogging is the last resort that he has, then by all means blog! bloggers like me support you!
TEAM BRIAN PHILIPPINES!

Well, freedom goes both ways. This is something that a lot of people overlook. We can should be free to express ourselves, but it would be unfair, not to mention hypocritical to complain when someone posits an opposing view.

Cheers!
